JaMor Johnson
JaMor Johnson is a multifaceted creative with a service-oriented spirit. He recently served as Chief of Growth and Innovation for Black to Business, a platform that empowers entrepreneurs by providing the education, practicality, and community necessary for Black business leaders to thrive. His leadership has resulted in the success of strategic initiatives and partnerships like Black Men Who Lead, which is grounded in elevating and engaging the often underserved Black male entrepreneur.
JaMor brings 10 years of experience to the hospitality, restaurant, and leisure industries. From leveraging relationships with key vendors and partners to training peers coming behind, he has earned his respect as an important ingredient within the service industry. To date, he has contributed to over $3 milllion in sales within DMV restaurant scene.
JaMor’s interest in entrepreneurship and business development intensified as he attended Howard University’s School of Business. There, he co-founded Jerk At Nite along with some dynamic partners spearheading strategies for business development and customer engagement during the beginning years. Their combined efforts transformed the business from a pop-up food truck known primarily amongst the college community to a locally known and appreciated storefront.
Last year, JaMor began to branch out on his own as a creative consultant through his company JJCC.
A Louisville, Kentucky native, JaMor has made Washington, D.C. home. He is an aspiring world traveler and enjoys live events, biking in the city, listening to podcasts, and (of course) exploring
new eateries.
